The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera arrived from Auckland at 1 p.m. yesterday, and hi the evening resumed her voyage South. Messrs Kiclnmlson and Co.'s s.s. Fanny arrived this morning „from Napier, bringing 26,062 feet, of timber, and a ];ii'ge quantity of sundries. She is. limed to leave at 5 o'clock this evening. The Tyscr steamer liKlnighiri left Waiigiinui for Gisborne at 9.30 this morning, and arrives here to-morrow night. The scow Bravo (Caplain Coomb\) arrived from Whangarei at 2 p.m. yesterday, and was brought into the harbor last evening. The Bravo left Whangarei on the 19th hist., and with a fair northerly wind crossed the- Bay of Plenty on the 20th. Fine weather was experienced down to.the East Cape, which was reached muthe 21st. The northerly \virtß. continued Until Poverty Bay was reached yesterday afternoon, as above stated. The" Bravo brought, a cargo of 140 to*is of coal for the Gisborne Freezing Works, and was engaged to-day discharging at the Kaiti wharf. During the trip down the Coast, there was n> sign of the Aotea, expected to airve here yesterday. The Bravo will. probably leave this port again on Friday next. The kefch Clematis was in the bay again to-day.

The s.s. Te Anau leaves Wellington at * p.m. to-day, and is due early on Wednesday. . • " On and after July Ist the Union Steam bhip Company's s.s. Rotomahana will leave Lyltelton one hour earlier than usual (viz., 9 p.m.), owing to an alteration in the railway timetable between Dunedin and Lyttelton. The Tyser liner Niwaru, from. Auckland to Napier, passed the bay a little ahead of the Tarawera yesterday afternoon. The Niwaru pays a visit to this port before leaving for Home. Messrs.
