TROOPERS SUE FOR PAY.

A number of returned soldiers have decided to commence an action against j the Government to recover the balance of their pay which they allege to be due. The action hinges on the point whether \ they were to be paidjls 6d per day" m excess of Imperial pay. The jGovernment contends that the 4s 6d was meant to include the Imperial rate. ___
