A NARROW ESCAPE.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Mr Oxlade, a member of the Australian athletic team, had a sensational escape from falling into Hell's Gate, Tikitiri, Rotorua. He was Bkylarking on the brink of the chasm, -when the soil gave way beneath his feet. He was disappearing when grabbed by Mr Marks, and saved from falling into water of 232 degrees temperature and meeting with a terrible death.
