The diagnosis by the Board of Health m regard to the boy at Annandale suspected to be suffering from the bubonic plague proves that it is a true case of plague. Active steps are being taken to prevent the spread of the disease. (Received Nov. 18, . 10.17 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 17. A Router* despatch states that Italy has abrogated the decree issued on March. Bth of this year regarding the arrival of steamers from Australian ports, excepting Queensland. The decree was issued owing to the existence of plague m Australia.
