The accident was due to a failure of the brakes to control the train on a greasy line, one- train dashing past the point where the trains were timed to cross. LONDON, Nov. 17. A dense fog caused a collision on the South-eastern and Chatham Railway at Brixton. Fifteen people were ;injured.
