A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT.
: —4 BUNEDIN MERCHANT SHOCKINGLY INJURED. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The community was profoundly stirred when it became known that Mr John Wright, & member of the firm of Wright, Stevenson, and Co., had been the .victim of a terrible accident While superintending some new machinery m the firm's bone manure depot near the wharf, he was caught m the belting, and before the machinery could be stopped he was whirled at a great rate round the shafting. He had both-legs and one arm broken, besides his body being shockingly mutilated. His wife is a daughter of Mr Greenwood, well known m Christchurch. He leaves two children.
