SUPPOSED WRECK OF A LARGE STEAMER.

(Eteetrlo Telegraph— Copyright— United Press Association.) Perth, Deo. 22. There is much anxiety here, as the wreck, some consider, is the steamer Devonshire, which left Albany for Fremantle on Tuesday ; others think it is the German mail steamer Frederick der Grosse, while shipping experts believe it to be an ocean tramp steamer approaching Albany from the west. The Penguin has been sent to the scene of the supposed wreck, and will reach there at midday. The police have been instructed to search the coast.
