SPEECHES.
London, Nov. 4. Sir Edward Grey, speaking at Peeble, said the country held an overwhelming opinion that Great Britain, in entering upon the war, was in the right. Mr James Lowther, member for the Isle of Thanet, condemns the war as a capitalists' job. The Daily News has published a reply, with the object of proving otherwise. The Daily News describes Mr Leyds' methods of " nobbling" the Continental Press, and states he spends 110,000 francs monthly in Paris.
