RAILWAY DISASTER.

The guard, seeing a collision inevitable, applied the Westinghouse brake with such force that it uncoupled the engine, which crashed into three thud-class carriages of the train for Tournay, which was standing at Forest. The victims were terribly mangled. The driver of the express did not see the signals against him.
