Loubct. jn Congiess the Republicans greeted M. Loubct's election with cheeis. In returning thanks M. L-iubet declared that ha would always be a Republican, and would promote pacification and order. He hoped to establish friendly lel.Uions with Parliament. Street demonstrations were the outcome of priiconcei led rowdyism. Forty-six were injured, including fourteen policemen. Two hundred and fifty arrests were made. M. Diipny, the I'icmier, has consented to retain office if the Dreyfus revision policy is unaltered. Continental newspaper.'; generally are favorable to M.
