Electric Telegraph- Conjriirlit— United Prcaa Atsociat on. Manila. Jan. 21. The Americans landed forces on Eguimarso, a small Island between the Islands of Panay and Negros, and near Ho 110. No opposition to landing was encountered. (Received Jan. 23, 9 a.m.) Washington, Jan. 22. The Senate decided to ask President McKinlcy for copies of the correspondence which passed with the so-called^Philippine Republic, as to particulars of the territories in the Philippines controlled by the respective forces, and what islands of the group Spain could in any event deliver over to America.
