SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The warships Tauranga and Royalist left for Wellington last evening, after a short stay in port of two days. The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere was to-day at Tuparoa loading wool, and is expected to reach Gisborne at noon to-morrow. She sails for Napier in the afternoon at 4 o'clock.
The Huddart-Parkcr Co.'s s.s. Elingamite, having been detained in Wellington on account of the heavy rain., will not leave that port until 5 o'clock this evening. The steamer is due here on Sunday morning, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney shortly after arrival, the last launch being fixed for 8 o'clock. The Union Co.'s s s. Flora is to leave Auckland at 1 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, and should arrive here early on Sunday afternoon, leaving for Southern ports at 5 p.m. The s.s. Waihi left this morning for Boat Harbor for wool, and is due back this evening. The Union Co.'s s.s. Poherua leaves the Bluff to-day for this port and Auckland via Oamaru, Timaru, and Wellington, and is due here about Wednesday next. The schooner Waiapu arrived from Tolago Bay with a load of wool at 1 o'clock to-day. The schooner Aotea leaves for Auckland via coastal ports at noon to-morrow.
