(Eltctric Telegraph— Copyright— United Presa Association.) Bkklin, Jan. 10. Professor Haffkine, by his system of plague inoculation, has triumphed over the disease at Samarakand, in Central Asia. [Professor Haffkine was appointed by the Indian Government in 1897 to investigate and report on the plague in Bombay, and has been engaged assiduously ever since cultivating a serum that will aot as a anti-toxin to the plague.]
