SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

« The Union Co.'s s.s. Kia Ora (Captain Shaw) arrived from Auckland via East Coast Bays at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Mr Thomas, purser, supplies us with the following particulars of the trip : — The Kia Ora left Auckland at 5.30 p.m. on the 11th, and called at Oreti, Whangaparoa, Hick's Bay, and Te Araroa on the 12th, Awanui, Tuparoa, and Waipiro on the 13th, and Waipare and Tolago on the 14th, arriving as above. Experienced light •winds and line weather throughout. Passengers : Misses Dette and Adams ; Mesdames Gollop, Henry, and Read ; Messrs Williams, Grinsted, McCullough, AtacKay, Read, Burn, Henry (2), and four steerage. The Kia Ora left for Napier by way of Boat Harbor at 10 o'clock this morning. She returns on Wednesday morning. The Union Co.'s s.s. Te Anau (Captain Berneoh) arrived from Auckland early yesterday afternoon, and left for Napier and Southern ports at 7 p.m. Passengers— Inward : Mesdames Innes, Allen, Craig and nurse and infant, Cuthbert, and Hooker ; Misses Burns and Miller (2) ; Messrs Skipworth, Huxtable, Gordon, Hutton, Caulton, Smith, Buttle, Douglas, Allen, Scott, Doherty, Bull, Stewart, and Tooman ; Constable Clark. OiUward : Mrs Adams and .infant; Misses Lambie and Orr ; Messrs Sproggon, DeLisle, Hori Hukahuka, Clarke, Finneran, and Wade. The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere arrived from Southern ports early yesterday morning, and left for Auckland at 8 a.m. Passengers — Inward : Messrs Wilson, Mason, Hendry, and Bonner. Outward: Mr and Mrs J. Muir; Messrs Lees and Anderson. The Tyser Company's steamer Star of Victoria, 2230 tons (Captain J. M. Hart), arrived from Wanganui early yesterday morning. The steamer commenced to load this morning, and will take from this port about 12,000 carcases mutton and 200 bales •wool, and a quantity of other produce. She sails to-morrow "evening for Napier, and finally leaves Wellington for London about the 25th inst. The Union Co.'s s.s. Flora leaves Wellington this afternoon, and is due here on Wednesday morning, sailing for Auckland at 8 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Mokoia leaves Auckland to-morrow, and arrives here on Wednesday afternoon, proceeding to Southern ports at 5 p.m. The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Elingamite leaves Dunedin to-morrow, and is due here on Saturday morning, sailing for Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. Messrs Richardson and Co. '3 s.s. Weka arrived from Napier this morning with a cargo of posts, timber, and sundries. She returns to Napier this evening via the Mania, where she ships a quantity of wool. The barquentine River Hunter was towed out into the bay last night, and now awaits a favorable opportunity to sail for Mercury Bay, at which place she loads timber for Sydney. The barque Akaroa is making splendid progress in her loading for London, and if work goes on at the same rate during the next fortnight, should be a full ship by the end of the month. Up to this morning the Akaroa had shipped 3307 bales of wool aud 130 casks tallow. The schooner Aotea was working Tokomaru to-day, and is expected here with to-morrow night's tide.
