AMERICAN ARMY SCANDALS.
(Electric Telegraph-Copyright— United Press Association.) Waskinoton, .lan. 13. Mr Eagan, Chief of tlie Commissariat Department, lias been ordered to be tried by court-martial for calling General Jliles a malicious liar. General Miles alleged that the department had supplied bad meat which had been embalmed chemically. A Commission ot Inquiry reported that the meat was good. It is rumored that President McKiuley intends to retire General Miles.
