PECULIAR FATALITY.
THE STORMS IN ENGLAND. (Electric Tekgraph-Copyriglit-Unitea Pi ess Association,! Loxpox. Jan. 13. Immense seas struck the Manchester goods train at Lhanfairfechan, a seaside resort in Carnarvonshire, drowning the driver and stoker. Jan. 14.— The gale made a gap 150 yards long in the Llanfairfechan sea-wall. The Liverpool express train had a narrow escape, being stopped close to the gap. The lighthouse at Port Cowl, in Glamorganshire, was destroyed. Several steeples and factory stacks collapsed. Altogether fifteen persons were killed during the gale.
