SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
« The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Elingamite (Captain Waller) arrived from Sydney and Auckland at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and left for Napier and Southern ports at 8 p.m. Passengers — Inward : Mesdames Chrisp, Tiffen, and Caradus ; Misses Chrisp, Townley, Col vert, Hislop, Stratford, and Hislop ; Mesars Gbrisp, Reeves, Lye, Matthews, Mathieson, Pyke, O'Connor, Miller, Matthews, Williamson, Jackson, Tiffen, Caradus, Thomas, Webb, Trotter, Andrew, Sobers, Seward, and Cato. Outward : Misses Large, Hellender, Sutton, Cook (2), Davis, Rogers, Wood, and Dodwell ; Messrs Brosnahan, Mason, Pettigrew, Mclntyre, Hart, Harris, Gibhs, Ropiha, Rennett, Kellett, Nurse, Buscke, O'Kane, Miller, Ellmers, and Lilley ; Master Little. The Union Co.'s s.s. Waihora leaves Wellington this afternoon, and is due here on Saturday morning, sailing for Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Kia Ora left Auckland at 5.15 last evening, and is expected to arrive here on Saturday morning. The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere arrives from Wellington via Napier on Sunday morning, and leaves for Auckland at 7 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Te Anau leaves Auckland at noon on Saturday, and is dne here on Sunday afternoon, proceeding to Southern ports at 5 p.m. The schooner Awanui left Whangara on Tuesday afternoon for Auckland. The schooner Waiapu is at present at Whangara loading for this port. The barquentine River Hunter will probably sail for Mercury Bay to-morrow, there to load timber for Sydney. From Sydney the vessel ia likely to return to this port with coals.
