THE WEATHER REPORT.
Captain Edwin wired this afternoon as follows : — "Gale from north-east to north and west at all places, but changing to between west and south-west and south at all places south of Port Chalmers and Queenstown after 12 hours. Barometer further fall everywhere. Sea heavy on all western coast, and on cast coast south of Napier. Tides high on all western coast, and also on east coast. Rain is probable south of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan."
