Outward : Mesdames Tutchen, Jones, Walker, Ingpon and three children, and CoateS ; Misses Hoveis and Parker ; Messrs Clark, Mouldey, and Boss. The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Elingamite arrived from Sydney and Auckland at 3 o'clock this afternoon, bringing a large number of passengers for this port. The steamer leaves for Southern ports this evening, the last launch being fixed for 5 o'clock. The Union Co.'s s.s. Waihora leaves Lyttelton this evening, and arrives here on Saturday morning, proceeding to Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. The Tyser steamer Star of Victoria is due from Wanganui on Friday, to load frozen mutton from Messrs Nelson Bros.' Taruheru works. The Union Co.'s s.s. Kia Ora leaves Auckland for Gisborne via coastal ports this afternoon, and is due here on Saturday morning. The s.s.
