THE WEATHER REPORT.
Capt. Edwin wired at 2 p.m. as follows : i Wind strong from between west and south- ; ■west and south at all places northnf Napier and New Plymouth. Gale after from 10 to 20 hours from north-east to north and ■west at all other places. Barometer rise . at all places north of East Cape, Tanpo, and Raglan ; fall eyerywhere else. Sea : heavy on all western coast and on east coast south of Napier after 16 hours. Tides high on both coasts.
