♦ [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON. To-day.-Nearly ninety nominations have been received for the Wellington Hun Club's handicap, which is said to be a record for the colony. The match will be shot at Petone on the 24th inst. The prize money amounts to £150, the first prize being £100. The Government steamer Tutanekal left with the Governor on his southern tour at 1 a.m. The railway revenue for the nine months to date is expected to reach £50,000 more than for the similar period of last year, but the expenditure has been very heavy on account of bridge building in Hawke's Bay, and relaying rails on the southern lines.
