Ho describes the singular dealings of Sir Wm. Marriott, Lord Ashburton, Lurd Churchill, * and Sir Blundell Maple. Mr Hooley paid M £11,000 to secure admission to the Carltoa fl Club. He states that the secretaries of JH his companies without orders destroyed a number of books, and insinuates that their object was to conceal misappropriations, y (Received Nov. 4, 9.5 a.m.) j| Mr Rose, city editor of the London Daily Mail, has resigned owing to Mr Hooley's insinuations against himself and v the paper. Hejnakes a strong self-defence.
