SHIPWRECKED CREW.

Melbourne, Nov. 1. A schooner has arrived from Maiden Island bringing the second officer and seven of the crew of the American ship Commodore, which while on the voyage from Honolulu to New York with a cargo of sugar went ashore on September 3rd on a reef off Maiden Island, and became a total wreck. Captain Davis, his wife, and a number of the crew remained on the island awaiting the arrival of a steamer to convey them to New Zealand.
