LABOR TROUBLES.
London, Nov. 1. The engineers have definitely refused unconditionally to withdraw their demand for a reduction of the working hours. A further distribution of a quarter of a million strike pay has been made. Mr John Burns has appealed to 20,000 eight hour men employed by the Government to subscribe Is per week towards the engineers' strike fund.
