FALSE BALANCE - SHEETS.
WHAT HAPPENS IN VICTORIA. THE GOVERNMENT PROSECUTE, Melbourne, June 24. The Government have decided to prosecute the directors^ and auditors of the City of Melbourne Bank on a charge of issuing false balance-sheets. The directors to be charged are Messrs Loarder, Williamson, Roberts, and Collier ; and the auditors Messrs Burns and Quill.
