Massacre near Damascus.
m Constantinople, June 22. The reported massacre of Turkish troops by the Druses, who had broken out in revolt, is now confirmed. The massacre took place near Damascus. The Mohammedans and Arabs united and surrounded the Turkish battalion. The rebels burned the Government buildings in Suvendia to avenge the action of the Porte towards the Drnses, which the latter regarded as treacherous.
