Presiß Aaaoolation— Eleottio Telegraph -Copyright MELBOURNE, Junb 21. By a fall of earth in the Golden Gate mine a man named Dower and his son were killed. ADELAIDE, June 22. Some sensation has been caused by the secretary of the Bouldner Northwest Company, Coolgardie, writing to the chairman of the Stock Exchange, informing him that a telegram had been received stating that the ore reported to have been' found in the mine contained no visible gold, also that serious misrepresentations have been discovered. BRISBANE, June 22. A cutter with seven Italians, one German, and one Frenchman has arrived at Townsville 20 days out from Noumea. The men left on a fishing cruise, and lost their compass and rudder. They have been arrested on a charge of stealing the boat. The escapees have in their possession olearance tickets from Noumea, and some gold. Some have served twelve, others nine or ten years.
