THE COAL STRIKE.
Sydney, June 20. It is the intention of the coal owners not to start the mines till sufficient] men are secured to man them all. The Board of Delegates discussed a letter from the Secretary of the Coal Owner's Association decliniug to meot the conference and intimating that the men would be dealt with individually. The meeting resolved to take a ballot upon the owners ultimatum ; also that it would oppose workmen accepting work individually, and that any reduction of wages be resisted.
