At the meeting of the Gisborne Oheaa Club last night Mr Day succeeded in winning his second game with Mr Faram. in the firab handicap, and* thus is champion on the firsb^ tournament. Budd ... ... 0 In this tournament the same handicapping as in the former one will be adhered to, but each player must play three games with each of the others. The winner will score, one for each game, and drawn games are to count half to each of the . contestants. Two or three new players will take part in the second series, and the interest will bp^ probably more general and longer sustained than previously.
