A tragedy is reported from Camperdown, a western suburb of Sydney. ■'.

Ezra Abrahams, a Jewish lollie vendor, and a married man with a family, became infatuated with M iss Goodacre. He pestered her with his attentions, but she refused all advances.

The couple met in the street- this afternoon, and she endeavored to avoid Abrahams, who drew a revolver and fired three shots at her, the bullets lodging in her arms and back.

The ruffian then fired two shots into his own abdomen.
