AUCKLAND V. NEW SOUTH WALES. Auckland, to-day. — The cricket match New South Wales v, Auckland commenced at ten this morning. Notwithstanding the heavy rain yesterday the ground was in excellent trim. New South Wales batted first, and Moore and Cowley faced the bowling of Neill and Kallender. Noble succumbed to a ball from Kallender, 5 — 2 — 100. Gould, the next man, was despatched by Neill, 6— 9— 118. E. Noble scored. Then Moore was caught by Yates, 7—68 — 136. Luncheon.
