She encountered the same heavy easterly gale as the Mariposa, and took a greab quantity of water aboard, some of ib finding its way into the cargo. In two days on the New Zealand coast she only steamed 128 knots. She leavos for Wellington and South on Thursday. WELLINGTON, To-day. Lady Jersey visits Lady Onslow in November. Ifc is uncertain whether the Governor of New Soufeh Wales will accompany her. The mutilated body of a man, name unknown, was found near Shannon this morning.
