Tlio Houlling race for the Intercolonial Amateur Sculling Championship of Victoria was rowed yesterday, when Kerr, of tho Yarra Club, won. Fred Foster, of the Union Club, Christchurch, finished last. The time was 22mins. ssecs. ALBANY, Nov. 17. Searle has arrived here, and is seriously ill. The nature of his complaint has not been ascertained. Nov. 18. It lias been ascertained that Searle is suffering from sunstroke. (Received November 18, 12.40 p.m.) PERTH, (W.A.) Nov. 18. Some remarkable mammoth caves have been discovered on the Millarbor Plains. Two of the caves are capable of containing 200,000 men.
