HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

An adjourned meeting of the Hospital Trustees was held last evening. Present : Messrs Lucas (in the chair), Bro<vn, Tucker, Watson, Dunlop, and the Rev. Mr Fox. The following tenders for the repairing of the roof wore opened : — J. W. Smith £94, J. Wade £107, O. Smart £119 5s 6d, J. Sommervell £150. It was decided that some reduction b.> made in the original specifications. Mr Smith's tender was accepted on condition that he alter the price of his tender in proportion to the reduction. Mr W. Maude attended and submitted the terms on which the Gas Company would supply the Hospital with gas. The Company would subscribe, if terms were arranged a sum of £20 to the Hospital, to which the Government would give a subsidy. The service could be discontinued at any time.
