WEIGHTS : GREAT HORSE SALE.
Melbourne, to-day. The weights for the Australian Cup and Newmarket Handicaps have been declared. For the Cup Trenton is top weight with 9.8, Nelson 9.7, Lochiel 7.3, and Musk Rose 6.4. For the Handicap William Tell is top weight 0.12, Nelson and Trenton each 9.7, Lochiel 8 0, and Muskßo3e G. 7. Sydney, to-day. At the annual sale of yearling 3by Mr Andrew Town, Hobartville, sixty-five yearlings realised 6805 guineas, sixteen mares 518 guineas, 22 trotting horses 840 guineas, and eighty-four draft horses 317 guineas.
