♦ The Union Co. 's s.s. Waihora (Capt. T. Popham) arrived from Melbourne via Southern ports at 4.30 a.m. yesterday. Passengers : Saloon — Misses Townley, Dickson, Strudwiok, Reed, Large, and Parau ; Mesdames Close and Reed ; Sir Jas. Pendergast ; Messrs Bertram, Jones, Rees, Escott, Reed, Fraaer, Longland, Rev. Wallace, McPhail, Pettie, Gully. Adams, Stuart, Smith, Bold, Miller, Hadfield, and Davia. SteerageMrs Stud aud family ; Messrs Collins, Paul, Russell, and Roe (2). She proceeded on to Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. taking the following passengers .-—Misses Langdale, and Lake ; Mesdatnes Davis nnd Barker ; and Messrs Campbell, Taylor, McKee, Smith, Davis, and Gould. The 8.8, Kahu (Capt. Romerill) arrived from Auckland via the Coast early yesterday morning, with wool and other general cargo. She leaves the wharf at high water this evening for Auckland. Rio be Janieko, Dec. 10. The N.Z. Shipping Co. 'a R.M.S, Kaikoura arrived here yesterday afternoon from ■Wellington (Nov. 18.) She sailed this morning for Plymouth. Her cargo of frozen mutton is in good condition. Capetown, Nov. 10. The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s R.M.S. Rimutaka arrived yesterday morning from Plymouth (Nov. 20). She left yesterday even- j ing for New Zealand. London, Dec. 11. The Orient Co.'s Orient arrived at Plymouth this morning from Melbourne (Oct. 29th). Melbourne, to-day. The Orient Co.'s R.M.S. Liguria, with London mails to Nov. 5, arrived here yesterday morning. Auckland to-day. The s.s. Australia arrived at 12.10 p.m. yesterday, and the Waihora at 1.25 p.m. today — both from Gisborne. Bluff, to-day. The s.s. Tarawera arrived from Melbourne via Hobart at 6 20 a.m. to-day.
