London, Dec. 10. The wool market continues dull. Up to the present date 8300 bales have been offered. At tho colonial sales 15,000 bales have been withdrawn. Conaola have fallen £, and are now quoted at 100£. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the proportion of reserve to liabilities to be 46 per cent., or 2 per cent, higher than last week. The total reserve in notes and bullion is £11,790,000, being an increase of $200,000 for the week. New Zealand securities remain unchanged at previous quotations. Melbourne, to-day. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held their usual weekly sales yesterday afternoon, otferintr a catalogue of 5328 bales. 3303 bales were sold, making a total for the week of 368X bales. The attendance of buyers was large and bidding spirited. The prices realised wore in sympathy with those realised at the London sales, greasy merinos being Id lower, crossbreds kd lower, washed flooces 2d lower, and secured H'l lower. The highest pries for greasy w"aa Hid, scoured 13d, and washed fleece 14|d. Sydney, to day. New Zealand wheat is selling at 5a 7d, New Zealand oats 2s, maize (per s(Jlbg) 3s sd. Sugar Co.'s No. 1 pieces are soiling at £25 per ton.
