THREE FATALITIES.
. « MAN ANP BOY KILLED : WOMAN PROWNED. Wellington, last night. Mrs Jones, wife of Mr W. Joneß, one of the oldest Wellington settlers, has been found dead in a creek at Paikakariki. Inteicargill, to-da A boy named John London, nine years of age, was killed afc the West Plains Station. It is not known how the accident happened, but it is supposed that he was playing on fche siding and that the waggon struck him on trio nape of the neck. There wore no marks, but the neck was dislocated. Ho had just gob off the train on returning from school. Nklson, to-day. A man named John Anderson was killed at Wakapuaka by the overturning of a dray in which ho and a man named Absulsm Lyfoid were riding. Lyford was unhurt, as he foil beside the ledge whioh prevented fche dray from falling on him, but Audeisun's head was smashed.
