[fbosi our own correspondent.] LONDON. November 10. The Premier, in a speech at the Mansion House, said chat the revival of trade \ would be permanent, because it was apparent not only in England, but on the continent of Europe and in America. The British Government were closely watching Ireland the people of which had never appealed to England in vain. One result of the Zulu war would be to teach the colonists to seek reliance in difficulties. The Afghau war had fully secured to India a frontier, and maintained British influence in Asia. He believed there would be a prolonged peace throughout Europe, provided England maintained her position in the Councils of Europe.
