Mr. Monteith reports the following prices realised for good souud horses : — Heavy draught; £45 to £50 ; medium, £30 to £35 ; light harness horses, £15 to £13 ; weight-carrying hacks, £20 ; medium do., £12 to £14 ; light do., £6 to £8 ; needy and inferior, dull of sale at nominal figures.
