This Day. Neilson's race horses were aold on Saturday without reserve. Fishhook fetched 650 guineas, Middleton 45 guineas, Te Whetu 80 guineas, The Moose 32 guineas, lama 55 guineas, Bribery 25 guineas, Sir Tatton 7 guineas, May Queen, (brood mare) m foal to Middleton and with foal at foot by Korari, 10 guineas. It is stated that some short time ago Middleton was sold for 500 guineas, and Sir Tatton changed hands several times at from one hundred to three hundred guineas. An attempt was made on Saturday to sell all Horsefall's racing stud but they were all passed m. The Selwyn County Council has made grants to the cemetery trustees and Avon Road Board so as to provide work for the unemployed.
