A match at 500 and GOO yards' for President Watkins’ trophy and a second prize donated by the club w’hs fired ion Saturday. Mr A. A. Old proved the ■winner, while. Messrs D. McLean, W. Morrison and W. ,T. Johnston tied for second, W. Morrison winning the shoot-off. Totals, including handicaps:— A. A. Old (55, W. Morrison 0-1, W. J. Johnston 01, D. McLean 01, A. S. Hone 01, T. 'The shoot-off for the- Shield resulted in a win for W. Morrison (30), with R. Watkins 27.
