THE NEW ZEALAND CONSIGNMENTS. Sydney, July 10. , Two catalogues were presented at the sheep sales to-day, entirely New Zealand consignments. At the morning sale proceedings were more cheerful than yesterday, but this condition was only maintained during the sale of Lincolns, The opinion of buyers, as expressed by the result of the sales so far, seems to be that Eomneys and Leicesters are not in favour. There were sold on account of Sutton, Invercargill, 16 stud Lincolns, ranging from 3 to 25 guineas, and averaging 9 guineas; 80 flock Lincolns, 2| guineas each; five hoggets averaging £4 7s 4d each; eight Lincoln ewes averaging £6 3s 2d. On account of the New Zealand and Australian Land Company—so Lincoln rams, 3 guineas each. F. Sutton, Thornbury—Two stud Lincolns, prizetakers at Invercargill, 40 and 20 guineas; one stud ram, 11 guineas; 30 rams at 2 guineas and 30 at I|. Andrews, Christchurch—Lincoln rams passed in; 42 ewes, 11- guineas. Threlkeld, Flaxton—4B Lincolns, 1£ guineas. Hall, Eiccarton—24 Lincoln rams, 1 : } guineas; 22 ditto, 1 guinea. Collins. Kaikoura— Passed in; a few so!d privately. Menlove, Windsor Park--Five stud Lincolns, averaged £4 8s 2d ; 10 rams, 1 guinea each. ‘ New Zealand and Australian Land Company—so Border Leicesters, 3gseach, Henderson, Canterbuary ; Grieve, Waianawa; School of Agriculture, Lincoln; Menlove, Grey, Otago ; Douglas, Dunlop —all Border Leicesters, passed in. Wallis, Southland—3s Komney ram hoggets, 2 guineas; two Eomney ewes, prizetakers at the late show, 10 and sgs, respectively. Cobb, Palmerston North—ls Eomney rams, averaged £1 10s Id. Grey Bros., Wairarapa; Bidwill, Pihautea —Passed in. Todd, Canterbury—Three Eomney rams, averaged £1 6s 7d. McKenzie, Wairarapa—Five Eomney rams, 1 guinea. Grey, Otago—Ten Eomney ram lambs, 1 guinea. Threlkeld, Overton; Canterbury— Leicesters, passed in. Menlove—Nine English Leicesters, Ig. Scales, Mowbray, Wellington-One Southdown, 2gs.
