It is understood that the prorogation of Parliament will not take place tomorrow (Ist December) as previously announced, owing to the delay which has occurred in the passing of the Premier’s resolution regarding the appointment of a “ Standing Committee of Selection.” In the House of Commons to-day Mr G. O. Trevelyan, Chief Secretary for Ireland, stated that if the leaders of the new Irish National League, Messrs Davitt, S. M. Healy (M. P. for Wexford) and J. E.
