STONE V It TVER—OPUNAKE. GRAVELLING CONTRACT NO. 2. TENDERS will he received at the Native Office, New Plymouth, until noon on SATURDAY, the 22nd instant, for the above contract. Tenders must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside, “ Tender for Gravelling Contract, No. 2.” Specifications, &c., may be seen at tho above office, and at the Public Works Office, Hawera. All tenders must be accompanied by a cheque for the amount named in the specification ; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to be in favor of the Receiver-General's deposit account only , and not to bearer or order. Parties tendering will be required to prospect for and find a supply of gravel as near the work as possible ; and each tenderer must state tho number of teams he intends to employ on the w'ork : not less than six teams, however, shall be employed on the contract.
