To welcome Mrs Roosevelt at Australia’s Federal Parliament House, the red carpet used for State occasions will be brought out for the first ti me since tlie beginning of the war. The pictures removed for safe keeping after Japan entered the war will be reining and a special staff lias been engaged on polishing more tlia-ii 10,000 pieces of table silver for the State dinner. Ministers will wear dinner jackets for ai formal occasion for the first time in the Curtin Government’s 22 months of office.
