STILL SWEEPING ON
LONDON, December 30 The Russians have quickly followed up the capture o>f Kotelnikovo by sweeping on both east and west of the Trans-Cauca-sian railway. They now threaten to roll up the whole of the German positions south of the town. In the fnid-Don area, the R id Army has tightened the ring around Millerovo. On two sides of the town tlie Russians are only a few jniles away while ot her Soviet troops which bypassed the town, are reported in the neighbourhood of Kamensk. 75 miles from Rostov.
