KONINI MEETING. The December meeting of the Konini Institute took the form of a Christmas Party for the school children. Tile afternoon was spent n playing games and several items were given by the children, who wer© treated to a delicious atternoon tea after which Mrs Sargjsson acting as Sajnta Claus presented every child with a present from the Christmas tree. The competition for the month was for the three heaviest hen eggs and was won by Mrs Walker, with Mrs Miller and Mi's Mabey equal second. The eggs were donated to th© hospital. A very happy afternoon was brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem
