NATIONAL SAVINGS
QUOTA RESULTS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON This Day. Last week 69 towns throughout the Dominion attained tfieir National Savings quotas and many other places fell short of the desired total by comparatively small margins. Since the inception of the scheme ii» October last a considerable number of towns have been successful in raising their quotas on all but one or two occasions, and the nine places that share* the distinction off having flown their National Savings flag's each week since the beginning of October are Ashburton, Cheviot. H u warden, Hunterville, Kaikoura, New Plymouth. Hawera. Urenui and Weber.
