WHITE BUTTERFLY FEARED
ACTION BY AUSTRALIA RESTRICTIONS ON N.Z. VEGETABLES. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CANBERRA, March 23. Regulations gazetted to-day prohibit the importation of a wide range of vegetables from New Zealand unless certified to come from areas free from the white butterfly. The vegetables affected are: Cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, turnips, radishes and similar classes subject to infection by the butterfly. The lifting of the embargo to allow the importation intc Australia of 1000 tons of potatoes is also gazetted to-day.
